The beginning of 2021 has been an interesting period for Match 3 games on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how the top five games in this category have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Project Makeover by Magic Tavern, Inc. showed a declining trend in downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 150K and ending with around 54K. Revenue peaked in the third week of January at over $228K but saw a general decrease to around $163K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 193K to 254K.

Lion Studios PlusMatch 3D experienced a downward trend in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads decreased from 45K to around 16K, while weekly active users saw a drop from 224K to 158K. Revenue, however, showed a positive trend, rising from about $30K to $39K by the end of the quarter.

Homescapes, published by Playrix, maintained a relatively steady revenue stream, starting at $304K and ending the quarter at around $234K. The game saw a slight decrease in downloads from 34K to 23K, and weekly active users had a marginal fluctuation, ending at 384K from an initial 382K.

King's Candy Crush Saga continued to be a strong performer with revenue starting at $465K and reaching $502K at the quarter's close. Downloads saw a small decline from 22K to around 13K, while weekly active users remained stable, starting at 393K and slightly decreasing to 396K.

Lastly, Gardenscapes also by Playrix, showed consistent revenue from $234K to around $250K. Downloads experienced a minor decrease from 24K to 19K, and weekly active users showed a slight decline from 147K to 137K.
